According to recent (2005) findings published in Volumes 80 and 81 of The American Genealogist, the Sarah who married Jeremiah O'Killey was not the child of John Chase and Elizabeth Baker. Instead, it has been determined that she is most likely a member of the Burgess family, and a daughter of either John Burgess and Mary (Worden) Burgess OR Jacob Burgess and Mary (Nye) Burgess.

That said, Sarah, daughter of John Burgess, should NOT be shown as Jeremiah's wife. His wife should still be identified as Sarah Unknown with information, including sources, shown in her biography providing evidence that supports the supposition that she was the daughter of John Burgess, or some other Burgess such as Jacob2 Burgess. Let's keep to published sources of peer-reviewed articles.”
