Sarah Hart's father was Stephen Hart, who was in Baltimore County by 1692 as a taxable in South side of Patapsco Hundred. He died by 27 Feb. 1696/7 when administrative bond was posted by John Scutt and wife Katherine, with Thomas Hooker and Robert Parker.

• Wife Catherine, extx. and residuary legatee of estate, real and personal, including dwelling plantation, Morning's Choice, and Morning's Choice Addition; to revert to dau. Mary afsd. at decease of wife, and in turn to dau. Sarah Hart should dau. Mary die without issue.
