Death Date: 1685.10.16?
Source: Michelle Detwiler mdetwilr@tx3.com. However, History of Bucks C o, W.W.H. Davis, 1905, states that there was a Sarah Schumacher who accomp anied Peter to America, and that she was the widow of his cousin. I don 't know, though, if the widow's maiden name was Hendricks. So, use cauti on in accepting as fact that Sarah was Peter's wife, and that her maiden n ame was Hendricks. Davis goes on to mention that Sarah brought children w ith her, though didn't name them, and that the children who accompanied Pe ter were his children Peter, Mary, Frances and Gertrude, as well as his gr andson, Martin Kolb (son of Dielman and Agnes {Schumacher} Kolb.)
If Sarah's maiden name was Hendricks, she was probably a sister or cous in of Gerhard/Gerrit Hendricks since he, like Peter Schumacher, was from K reigsheim, Germany.
