Biography

Sarah Griffin, daughter of Hugh Griffin and his wife Elizabeth, was born 20 November 1642 in Sudbury, Massachusetts Bay Colony, and died there about 1695. She married Jonathan Stanhope.

Ensign Jonathan Stanhope, immigrant ancestor, settled early in Sudbury, Massachusetts, where he died 22 October 1702, aged seventy years. Therefore he was born in 1632, doubtless in England.
