. On 5 Mar 1684 Lancelot Todd of Anne Arundel County and Sarah his wife, "Daughter and heiress of Thomas Phelps" for ?10,000 sold to Edward Phelps [Philks] "Wolfe's Neck," a tract of 150 acres on the Gunpowder which bordered the land formerlay taken up by Captain Thomas Harwood, Mariner; the conveyance was witnessed by Thomas Bland and John Howard. (Balto. Co., R. M. N o. H. S., 116).
