"Mrs. W.R. Gilbert received a telegram Sunday night announcing the death at Albany on Sunday evening at 7 o'clock of Mrs. Sarah Redding Trent, 82 years old, widow of F.W. Trent who died here last March. Her death was caused by paralysis, from which she had suffered the past three years. She will arrive in Chillicothe Tuesday noon and will be taken to the old Trent home on South Cherry street, from which place funeral services will be held at three o'clock, Rev. M.H. Moore conducting the services. Interment will be made in Edgewood cemetery.

Soon after the death of her husband, Mrs. Trent was taken to Albany where she had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Woodson Peery. Miss Janie Moore, a nurse of this city, accompanied Mrs. Trent to Albany and cared for her. She received the very best attention, but the shock of the death of her husband along with the dread disease soon called her to her last resting place.

The decedent was a good Christian woman. She had a large circle of friends in Chillicothe who will be grieved to learn of her death." Chariton Courier, August 4, 1911
