About Saturnino Benito
Saturnino Benito was a Filipino naval engineer and politician. He was elected to the 1934 Philippine Constitutional Convention, co-representing the second district of Albay. He served as governor of Albay from January 1941 to 1943 (was suspended from August to September 1941), and from 1945 to 1946. In 1954, President Ramon Magsaysay appointed him to the 10-member board of the National Agricultural Council.
