About Serafín Marabut
Serafín Marabut was a Filipino politician. He represented the second district of Samar at the House of Representatives of the Philippines from June 5, 1928 to September 16, 1935. He later represented the same area from September 16, 1935 to May 27, 1936, when he resigned on appointment as Undersecretary of Finance and Director of the Budget Office. He then served as Secretary of Finance from August 21, 1941 to December 29, 1941. He finally represented Samar at the National Assembly from September 25, 1943 to February 2, 1944.
