Peter enlisted in the Continental Army 1 Jan 1777 and served as a corporal in Col. Lambs's 2nd Artillery Regiment under Capt. Fleming. He was of Dutch descent. His brother Jacob was with him at Valley Forge,
but Jason was killed at the Battle of Brandywine. Peter came to Bucks Valley after the war and worked as a tailor. Issue:
