Here is clarification on the above commentary, which I found confusing.

Father: Seth Briggs I (1704-1782) Seth I & Ann's Son: Seth Jr (1728-1828) Seth I & Ann's Son: Silas (1732-1813) Silas' Wife: Esther Soper (1738-1812) Esther's Mother: Esther Littlefield Soper (1714-1792)

Seth Briggs I married Esther Littlefield Soper, Esther Soper's MOTHER, May 2, 1751 (Massachusetts, Compiled Marriages, 1633-1850)

Silas Briggs & Ester Soper of Berkley married Oct 31, 1754 (Massachusetts, Town and Vital Records, 1620-1988).

https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/76023646 again shows Esther Soper Briggs (1738-1812) was married to Silas Briggs and references three children: Asa Briggs (1755-1835), Jonathan Briggs (1772-1832), and Amasa Briggs (1775-1863).
