Son of Joseph Kellogg and Mary Cushman. .
Husband of Lucretia Harwood, whom he married on Dec. 7, 1780, in Pittsford, Rutland, VT, and with whom he had 8 children: Sarah, Clara, Lucretia, Amos Montague, Samuel Harwood, Charles Harvey, Amos Cushman, and Azuba Fasset Kellogg. .

AMOS KELLOGG [1761-1826] was a pioneer settler of Vermont, a member of Colonel Seth Warner's Green Mountain Boys Continental Army Regiment that served in the American Revolution at the battles of Bennington and Saratoga, In the 1790's he was a Justice of the Peace, Rutland County VT, and in later years, he was a member of the Vermont legislature.
