About Sgt. William M. Faubion, (CSA)

Civil War Veteran.

Enlisted as Pvt. in Co. D,(Flournoy's) 16th TX Infantry, CSA and reached the rank of Sergeant by the end of the war. His unit took part in the battles of Milliken's Bend; Mansfield; Pleasant Hill and in Bank's expedition on the Red River. They served in the Trans-Mississippi Department until the surrender.
