Shadrack Williams

His name was not Shadrach Edward Williams. Middle names were virtually nonexistent in the 1600s.. The confusion undoubtedly arose because the nickname for Shadrach is Sheddy., sometimes misread as Eddy i.e. Edward.

Shadrach (/Shadrack) Williams was the son of Roger Williams and Joane Firth. He married Elizabeth (Walker) Williams in 1702 and had the following children: 1) Roger Williams, Elizabeth Williams, Henry Williams. He was the brother of Betty Williams, Joan (Williams) Kincheloe, Ruth (Williams) Canterbury, Susannah (Williams) Phllips, Rebecca (Williams) Thompson, Roger Williams and Anne Williams.
