Mrs. Shady Olive died Monday, Jan. 24th, at her home in Stafford county, aged 69 years. She was a member of Rappahannock Baptist Church in Richmond county.
Mrs. Olive was the widow of the late Robert Olive, of Richmond county, who served in the Confederate army and was wounded at Aquia Creek. He died in 1876. Five years later Mrs. Olive moved to Stafford county and resided there until her death.
Surviving are three sons and one daughter, Messrs. Henry C. Olive, Richard A. Olive and Mrs. Belle B. Grady.
Funeral from her late residence, Tuesday, Jan. 25th, at 1 o'clock.
