Sharon Gertrude Brown Goodwin

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Gertrude Goodwin, age 73, of Leamington, NS. Sharon passed away on Friday, March 30, 2018 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre. Born in Bayfield, NB, she was a daughter of the late Roland and Hester (Bowser) Allen. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. A wonderful cook and homemaker, she was famous for her lobster chowder, and her Christmas dinners. A quiet, loving and giving lady, many benefited from her anonymous kindness. Sharon was a hairdresser for over 30 years. She and her husband Gary ran the Irving Garage in Southampton for many years. She will be dearly missed by her husband Gary; children Kimberly (Danny) Bowser, Sackville, Robbie Brown, Sackville; grandchildren Jordan, Jaden, Jensen and Janaea; sister Judy (Hub) Williston, Amherst and Ralph (Krista) Allen, London, ON her special dog Honey; several nieces and nephews She was predeceased by her brother Courtney. Arrangements have been entrusted to A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane St., Springhill, NS (902-597-2361). A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Burial will take place in the Southampton Cemetery in the spring.
