About Shealah Craighead
Shealah Craighead is an American government photographer who served as the Chief Official White House Photographer for President Donald Trump. She was the second female photographer in White House history, with the first one being Sharon Farmer in 1998. Craighead previously served as official photographer to former First Lady Laura Bush in the administration of George W. Bush. (Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
Craighead's ethnic background is diverse. Her recent ancestry includes Belgian Flemish, Dutch, English, German, Scots-Irish/Northern Irish, Irish, Scottish, Welsh, 1/8th Paiute Native American, and 1/32 Swiss-French. Her slightly more remote, but still genealogically close, ancestry includes Cornish, French, Norwegian, Swedish, and Swiss-German. One of her paternal great-grandmothers belonged to the Shivwits Band of Paiutes.
