Shearjashub (3), son of Searjashub ( 2) Bourne, was born at Bristol, Rhode Island, December 4, 1751, died there November 24, 1821, aged seventy years. He was a prominent merchant in his native town.

He married (first) on 4 March 1773 in Bristol, Rhode Island, Ruth Waldron, who died January 28, 1793, aged forty-two years, only child of John Waldron
