Services for Sheridan Harry Stanton, 75, of 118 Lackawana Road, will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Kerr Brothers Funeral home. Burial will be in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens, Jessamine County. Friends may call at the funeral home.

STANTON, Sheridan Harry, 75, who resided at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Hargis Brown, of 118 Lackawana Road, died Friday at 8 p.m. apparently suffering a heart attack at the home of friends on Chantilly Lane. Born in White Rock, N.C., a son of the late Sol and Hester Tweed Stanton, he was a barber in Lexington, a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in World War I. He attended Berea College and was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Besides his daughter, survivors include: a daughter, Mrs. William McKenna, San Francisco, Calif.; three sons, Harry D. Stanton, Hollywood, Calif., Ralph G. Stanton, Lexington, and Arch H. Stanton, Louisville; a brother, Stanton, Marshall, S. C.; a sister, Mrs. John Knott, Knoxville, Tenn.; and 10 grandchildren. Services at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Kerr Brothers Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Wilhelm officiating. Burial will be in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home.
