Miss Shirley Ann Frew, Age 77, of Madison, Indiana entered this life on Thursday, December 13, 1934 in Vincennes, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late Archie, Sr. and Beulah Hert Frew.

She was a 1952 graduate of Columbia High School in Richland, Washington and graduated from the Kentucky Baptist School of Nursing in Louisville, Kentucky in 1956.

She moved to Madison, Indiana in 1956 and began her career as a registered nurse at the Madison State Hospital until her retirement in 1998.

Shirley loved and cared for animals and enjoyed volunteering at the Jefferson County Animal Shelter. She was also an avid fan of University of Louisville athletics and particularly enjoyed basketball, baseball and football.

She was a former member of the Beargrass Christian Church and was currently a member of the North Madison Christian Church. Her greatest joy came from her dogs, Peanut, Jasper & Casey.

Shirley died Friday, August 3, 2012 at 10:05 p.m. at 2940 Ohio Avenue in Madison, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Archie, Sr. and Beulah Hert Frew; her brother: Archie Frew, Jr.

FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., by Brother Bob Hicks and Pastor Frank McGee, at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana

Interment will follow in the Louisville Memorial Gardens East, in Louisville, Kentucky.

VISITATION
Friends may call Monday from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of the service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
