MCKENZIE (Akroyd), Shirley Kathleen.

Shirley passed away peacefully, with family by her side, at Kiri Te Kanawa, early on Sunday 19th December 2021, aged 88 years. Dearly loved wife of Des (dec), and much-loved Mum of Sheree, Stuart, Gail (dec) Gary, Lianne and Jane. Adored mother- in-law, treasured Nana Mac of her 10 grandchildren and their families, and Great- Nana to her 14 great- grandchildren. Heartfelt thanks to all of Mum's family, friends and the staff at Kiri Te Kanawa. We will celebrate Shirley's life Wednesday 22nd December, 1.30pm at St. Lukes Church, 737 Matawai Road, Waerenga-a-Hika, Gisborne. Due to Covid-19, vaccine passes will be required allowing max number of 100 to attend. The ceremony will also be live-streamed.
