Shirley Nancy Crystal Pinkett

An avid supporter of the Morning Star Baptist Church, Shirley Holland was born on August 8, 1931 in Baltimore, Maryland and was the fifth of ten children born of the union between the late James P. Holland and the late Alice Whitehead Holland Floyd. She was the mother of actress Jada Pinkett Smith.

She died on December 27, 2010 and was survived by her son Stephen M. Pinkett Sr., six grandchildren, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Caleeb, Stephen Jr., Jessica, Terob Pinkett; and one extended grandchild, Regina Nollie; eleven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; three sisters, Harriett White, Lenora Barner and Doris Huff Scott; one daughter-in-law, 2 sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
