Shlomo Glozman was murderd on 21 September 1941. He was one of the Jewish community leaders in Kiev.

As related by neighbours:

The Nazis put him and nine other most honourable old Jews in a lorry, forced them to put on their prayer vestments, and drove them through the town until dinner time. They repeated this procedure several days in succession. people in the streets were laughing at their chariot of disgrace.

A few days later Shlomo Glozman left the house to go and visit his son. As he crossed Kiev a drunken SS man attacked him and he was beaten to death.
