Shulamit Bindish-Newton

In memory of my mother,

My mother, Shulamit Bindish Newton, was my best friend and closest confidant. She was a strong, wise, intelligent, creative and talented woman. She loved art, literature, animals, politics and most of all her family. A year ago she was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer with tumors that spread to her brain. For a year she fought bravely, undergoing radiation treatments and chemotherapy. She passed away peacefully yesterday from a hemorrhagic stroke.

I will love and miss you forever mom, and may you rest in peace knowing that you gave me everything I ever needed from you.
