About Sibella Fleetwood (James)

Baptismal certificate: Born July 9, 1785; baptized August 5, 1785 at St. Lawrence Jewry Church, City of London. Parents John and Sibbilla James.

25 Jun 1810, Appointment of an Attorney, Herefordshire Archives, File CJ78/12

Document signed by Sibbilla James of Dongate Hill, London, spinster. Recites the marriage settlement of John James and Sibbilla Anderson on 1781 [CJ87/5], under which settlement she is entitled to one third share of £4,000. Her eldest brother John James of Dongate Hill, gent, is about to make some investments in order to protect the properties charged with the entitlement, and may need her signature. As she is about to travel into Ireland, this document is to appoint Kennedy Johnston of Wallbrook, London, surgeon as her attorney for that purpose. Note: Her sister Anne James had married Rev.Edwin Palmer, rector of Modreeny, Co. Tipperary; she was probably going to visit her sister.

Thomas Fleetwood of Ballinagore, Co. Westmeath and Banagher, King's Co. married Sibella James 1814 (marriage settlement September 19, 1814) information from Sir Edmund Thomas Bewley, "Irish Branch of the Fleetwood Family," pedigree of Fleetwood family, pg. 238

Marriage document, All Hallows, Tottenham, London: Thomas Fleetwood of Dublin, bachelor, married Sibilla James, of All Hallows' parish, spinster, on September 20, 1814, witnessed by Hester James (mother) and J James (presumably John James, father or brother).

She and her husband Thomas Fleetwood Esq of Banagher, King's Co., Ireland, witnessed her niece Sybilla Harrison's marriage settlement to Dr. Thomas Purefoy MD, of Cloghjordan, Co Tipperary dated October 19, 1835. Registry of Deeds, Dublin, Memorial 183606085 http://irishdeedsindex.net/mem.php?memorial=183606085. Sybilla Harrison was the daughter of her sister Anne Palmer (nee James, widow of Lt. Richard Harrison).

Daniel Bell] deceased who died 21 August 1868 at Rathgar-road Co.
