Sidney Daniel Shoufler

Sidney D. Shoufler, 71, Milford, died at 1 pm Thursday, June 16, 1983, at Watseka manor, where he has resided for three years.

He was born Sept. 26, 1911, at Milford, the son of William and Margaret Wilken Shoufler. He married Frances Robertson in 1933 and she died in 1965. Survivors include three sons, Danny of Danville, John of Farmer City and Thomas of Wapella; four daughters, Joann Howard, Diantha Hansen and Sylvia Shoufler Watseka and Linda Kochell Ambia, IN; 17 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Annabell Pentecost Madisonville, KY and Cleo Strayer Hoopeston.

Two children and four brothers are deceased. Services will be held at 3 pm Saturday at Barker Funeral Home Milford. The Rev. Neil Larimore will officiate, with burial in Maple Grove cemetery, Milford.
