About Siegfried Schopflocher
GEDCOM Note

Migrated in the early 1920's to Montreal, Canada. He became a follower of Baha'i and left all his money to the Baha'i Temple in Haifa, Israel. At their registers is found: " Mr. Siegfried Schopflocher
, appointed Hand of the Cause in 1952, died the following year. Many years before, in 1927, he made an around-the-world trip and stopped in Japan for a few days, meeting as many Bahá'ís as hecould. He wrote an account of his extended trip and in the section about Japan (Star of the West, Vol. 19) included three pictures shown here with the original captions."
