Siets Jacob de Vries

Aged 61

SIETS J. DE VRIES, head of the lumber firm of Siets J. De Vries & Co., died yesterday at 842 West Forty-seventh place. He was born in Holland in 1853, and came to America at the age of 14. After several years on a farm he entered the lumber business in Chicago. Fifteen years ago he formed his own firm.
