He acquired the nobile title of Conte in 1702 from the Senate and the Venetian doge

"Of these "nobles of the city of Omis", two are enrolled with the high title "conte". The first is the contes Caralipeo inherits this title from his ancestor Pavle Caralipe, who acquired it in 1702 from the Senate and the Venetian doge."
