Sybrandt DeHaan, aged 78, of 353 Freyling Place, passed away Monday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John K. Sikkema of Highland, Michigan. Besides the daughter he is survived by three other daughters, Mrs. Wiliam Overbeek and Mrs. S. Dykema of Holland and Mrs. Henry Sikkema of this city; one duaghter-in-law, Mrs. John DeHaan of McBain and seven sons, George, Sie and Corneal of McBain and Ben, Richard and Peter of this city and Arthur of California; sixteen grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters in The Netherlands. Funeral services will be held Wednesday in Highland, followed by services Thursday at the Holwerda Funeral Home. The body will arrive in Grand Rapids Wednesday evening. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery.
