She was Obadiah's third wife, and considerably younger than he. On September 12, 1723, Silence 'Wilcockson' exhibited receipts from five of the legatees of her former husband's (Obadiah) will, and declared the others had received their portions. (Her name at this time was Chatfield, although the Probate Court retained her former name.)
