Biographical Summary
Silvester Rattray, of Craighall, infeft in all his father's lands by a charter under the great seal, dated 26 Oct. 1604. He m. Agnes, dau. of Lambie of Dunkenie, and had two sons, viz., David, his heir; and Silvester, bred to the church, progenitors of the Rattrays or Persie.
