Simon owned real estate in Harwich and with his father, was one of the eight founders of the Congregational Church of Harwich in 1700. His wife was admitted to membership 22 June 1701. She died at Harwich 17 April 1746, aged about 77 years.

Mentioned in the will of Simon Crosby, recorded in the Barnstable, Mass, Court House are Mary and Nathaniel, relationship not stated. (Crosby, 1940, p 14)

Simon's m. place comes from Torrey, "NE Marriages prior to 1700," 1992, p 193 as well as Mary's dates.

Simon and Mary (Nickerson) Crosby had 14 children.
