Illeg. children by Helena (Beyers) of the C., divorced wife of Heinrich Schweeden (q.v.): Hester Jacoba (12.6.1785), Henricus Willem (12.6.1785), Johanna Hendrica (9.9.1787), Anna Dorothea (* 1791), Hendrica (* 1793), Maria (* 1795), Hendrik Simon Seeberg (* 6.9.1802, bapt. in July 1806). H. became blind and applied (1803) for support to the Cape Church Council. He died 18.7.1806 at the age of 53.
