About Simon Van Wicklen
Simon’s house, a typical one and a half story Dutch farmhouse, still stands and is open to the public (The Van Wickle house, 1289 Easton Ave, Somerset, NJ 08873). Pictures of it may be seen on The Meadows Foundation website and in Rosalie Fellows Bailey “Pre-Revolutionary Dutch Houses and Families in Northern New Jersey and Southern New York” pages 466-69, 467 (plate 140).
