ADAM COLQUHOUN

Adam Colquhoun is the son of Alexander Colquhoun of Luss and his wife Helen Buchanan. The Chiefs of Colquhoun. Vol, I: p. 235 He is mentioned in his father's last will and testament dated 16-17 May 1617. His father died on 23 May 1617. Ibidem: p. 230

Family

Christian was the daughter of Lindsay of Bonneil and had two children. She married about 1621 and died before 1630. [1]

Husband: Adam Colquhoun. Adam is described as a Merchant of Dumbarton and the fifth son of Alexander XIV. [2] Adam was the father of two children, Robert XVI and a daughter, who married Thomas Buchanan, sixth of Carbeth.
