About Sir Alexander Hay, Lord Fosterseat
Biographical Summary
"Alexander Hay of Fosterseat - Admitted an Ordinary Lord on the 25th February 1604, on the resignation of Lord Kinloss. Lord Fosterseat was also a privy councillor. He resigned his seat in 1669, and was succeeded by James Oliphant of Newton."
