Sir Andrew Aylmer, 2nd Bt. was born between 1610 and 1617.1 He was the son of Sir Gerald Aylmer, 1st Bt. and Julia Nugent.1 He married Ellen Butler, daughter of Thomas Butler, Viscount Thurles and Elizabeth Poyntz, in 1634.1 He died between May 1671 and 1681.1
He was invested as a Knight.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Aylmer, of Doneda, co. Kildare [I., 1622] on 19 August 1634
