• Major, in SOE, Number: 63572. Parent unit Royal Artillery, former Royal Northumberland Fusiliers (Lt)
• Op.Boatswain - Missing In Action at sea at the age of 26, together with 23 Jewish Palestinian soldiers, SOE volunteers, on 18th May 1941. Op.Boatswain was an operation by Palestinian agents to destroy the oil refineries near Tripoli, Vichy controlled Lebanon.
