Sir Edward Denny of Tralee Castle, a royalist commander in Ireland and grandson of Sir Edward Denny, Knight Banneret of Bishops Stortford. He held the office of High Sheriff of County Kerry in 1634, the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) in 1639, and the office of Constable of Castle Magne in 1641.
