Gerard de Camville, Fulk d'Oyri, Conan fitz Ellis, and others, had organized in 1189, at the instigation of the Prior of Spalding, a notorious attack on the marshland property of the monks of Crowland.

The following document refers to the right of way through the lands of Fulk. Note also one of the witnesses is Robert Constable, Fulk's son in law.

Hawise, Countess of Albermarle to Fulk de Oyri: after making her fine with King John for her lands, property: all suits of the wapentake; castle guards and tolls; free passage of the Humber ("Umbria"); free warren throughout his lands at Dudigt (Dunnington) of the fee of the Knights Templar; the right to take greyhounds through her lands in Holderness and run them there, taking a hare or two ("unum leporem vel duos") "but this shall be by view of my warrener" Witn. John de Melsa Geoffrey de -----, Robert the Constable, Geoffrey de Hesilton, Fulk de le Hide, John de Stapisle, John de Tulneya.

A William de Welle served in an expedition to Ireland in 1210, and in Mar 1215/16 he paid a fine to buy the King's favor, but in May 1217, his lands were granted to Fulk d'Oyri.

Philip de Burnham, his son, who married Emma, daughter and coheir of Sir Ralph L'Estrange, Knt. and impleaded Fulk d' Airy, at Gedney in Lincolnshire, (fn. 2) and Maud his wife, sister to Emme, for the moiety of 3 messuages, lands, &c. in Weniz, (East Winch) Litcham, and Ringtead, in the 4th of King John.
