Inpremis I commend my Spiritt into the hande of my Lord Jesus Christ my savyur and Redeemer, And my bodie to the Earth whereof it has formed, there to sleepe in the dust untill the time of resrethynge I shall come from the presence of the Lord, and when Christ our life shall appeare then shall I also appeare with him in glory for I know who I have belovedand am persuaded that hee is able to keepe that which I have committed unto him against that daie. Item I give to the poor of Hill Bishuppe aforesaid the summe of Twentie Shillings to be distributed as my executrix shall thinke fitt within three monthes after my decease. Item, I give unto my daughter Dorothy Farewell three hundred pounds currant English money which is in the hands of my sonne John Farewell of the Inner Temple London. Item I make my deare and loving wife Marie Farewell the sole executrix of this my last will and testament, entreating her to bee carefull for the good of our children and most for them that have most need of her helpe. Item, I make my sonne George Farewell and Mr. Thomas Norris my sonne in law overseers of this my last will and testament, And doe give unto each of them a golde ringe with this inscription Nemento Mori. George Farewell signed sealed and published the daie and yeare first above written, In the presence of Tho. Norris, John Nurton his mark.
