• b. c.1564, younger son of Thomas Fleetwood of The Vache by his 2nd wife Bridget, daughter of Sir John Spring of Lavenham, Suffolk; brother of Henry and half-brother of William Fleetwood III.

• m. 19 Apr. 1586, Katherine, daughter of Henry Denny, dean of Chester, by Honora, daughter of William, 13th Lord Grey of Wilton, 8 sons, 6 daughter
• Knighted 1603.

• Justice of the Peace for Buckinghamshire from c.1586,
• sheriff 1590-1;
• gentleman pensioner 1597-d.

Biography

Fleetwood was returned for a local borough in the year that, though a younger son, he entered into most of the family lands, including The Vache, and in which he married Katherine Denny, relative and probably ward of Sir Francis Walsingham. All three William Fleetwoods were in this Parliament.

Fleetwood died 21 Dec. 1620.
