THEOBALD III? One website suggests Gilbert is the son of Theobald III with a brother called Stephen II Henry of Blois (http://www.jgshepherd.net/page281.htm) but others do not list Gilbert as a son of Theobald (http://fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands/CENTRAL%20FRANCE.htm#ThibautIIIdied...).
EUDO II Comte de Blois? Another website has Eudo/Eudes/Odo (950-1037) as Gilbert's father, and here Theobald II is Gilbert's brother, and Bertha de Blois is his sister (http://cybergata.com/roots/2001.htm)
