  • Sir Giles Alington was born circa 1572.2 He was the son of Giles Alington and Margaret (?).2 He married, firstly, Lady Dorothy Cecil, daughter of Thomas Cecil, 1st Earl of Exeter and Dorothy Neville, before 1601.1 He married, secondly, Dorothy Dalton, daughter of Michael Dalton and Mary Elrington, on 2 December 1630 at West Wratting, Cambridgeshire, England.2 He died circa 20 December 1638. He was buried on 23 December 1638 at Horseheath, Cambridgeshire, England.1
  • In 1631 he was censured and fined £32,000 in the Star Chamber for marrying his neice by the half-blood, and did penance.2 On 7 January 1633/34 the offenders had "pardon for incest, provided they shall not hereafter cohabit."2 He lived at Horseheath, Cambridgeshire, England.1

  • William Alington, 1st Baron Alington of Killard (baptised 14 March 1610/1611, buried 25 October 1648) was an Irish peer, the son of Sir Giles Alington. He was created 1st Baron Alington of Killard, on 28 July 1642.

  • Sir Thomas Hatton, 2nd Baronet (died 1682) was an English politician who sat in the House of Commons from 1674 to 1679.
  • Hatton was the son of Sir Thomas Hatton, 1st Baronet of Longstanton, Cambridgeshire and his wife Mary Allington, daughter of Sir Giles Alington, of Horseheath, Cambridgeshire, and his wife Lady Dorothy Cecil, daughter of Thomas Cecil, 1st Earl of Exeter. He succeeded to the baronetcy on the death of his father on 23 September 1658. He was Sheriff of Cambridgeshire and Huntingdonshire from 1662 to 1663.[1]
