Crusader 1097. Show in the list of Norman knights at the 1st Crusade who accompanied Robert Duke of Normandy, in 1096. It is possible that Jean founded a family of St Legers found in Pays De Caux in ancient times. The Christian name of Jean is very prominent in that family. There was a Jean St. Leger with the King Philip Augustus in Palestine in 1191.
