About Sir John Clayton, of Richmond
1472. Sir John CLAYTON, born Abt. 1630. He was the son of Sir Jasper CLAYTON and Dame Mary THOMPSON. He married Lady Alice BOWYER 1664, who was born Abt. 1640; died 1718 in ENG. She was the daughter of Sir William BOWYER and Margaret WELD.
Of London and Parson's Green, Fulham, Middlesex county, admitted to the Inner Temple, July 22, 1650, and knighted in 1664.
