About Sir John Cope, 5th Baronet Cope of Hanwell

From the book, "Baronetage of England," printed for John Stockdale, published 1806: Sir John Cope, eldest son of William Cope, 2nd Baroent, married (1) Mary, the daughter of Sir John Walter, Knight, who died leaving him with one daughter, Anne. He married (2) Lady Elizabeth, daughter of Francis, Earl of Westmorland. the had three sons -- Anthony, William (who died young), and John -- and two daughters, Mary and Elizabeth.

Sir John succeeded his brother Anthony, 4th Baronet, who died without a male heir. He married Anne, daughter of Mr. Phillip Booth. They had a daughter Elizabeth, who died young, and seven sons: John; Anthony; Charles; Galen; David; Albian, and William. David, Albian and William all died unmarried Sir John died on 1 Jan. 1721 and was succeeded by his eldest son.
