Sir John Gage, 4th Baronet, of Firle, Sussex

Sir John Gage, 4th Bt. was the son of Sir Thomas Gage, 2nd Bt. and Mary Chamberlain. He married, firstly, Mary Middlemore, daughter of Robert Middlemore and Henrietta Maria Drummond. He married, secondly, Mary Stanley, daughter of Sir William Stanley, 1st Bt..

He succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Gage, of Firley, co. Sussex [E., 1622] on 22 November 1660.

He held the office of Sheriff of Sussex from 1687 to 1688.

He died on 27 May 1699.
