"Sir John Hall, Baronet [S. 1687], of Dunglass, 1st s. and h., b. 16 Sep. 1787, in Edinburgh; suc. to the Baronetcy, 23 June 1832. He m. 23 Jan. 1823, Julia, da. of James Walker, of Dairy, in Midlothian, by his 2d wife, Marion Anne, da. of John Hope, M.D. He d. 2 April 1860, at 63 Lowndes square, aged 72. His widow d. there 3 Oct. 1874, aged 74."
