About Sir John Henry Kilian Brunner, 4th Baronet
Sir John Henry Kilian Brunner, 4th Bt. was born on 1 June 1927. He was the son of Sir Felix John Morgan Brunner, 3rd Bt. and Dorothea Elizabeth Irving. He married Jasmine Cecily Wardrop-Moore, daughter of John Wardrop-Moore and Janet Monteith Erskine, on 22 December 1955. He died on 18 November 2015 at age 88 at Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England. He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Artillery. He graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1950 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.). He was with PEP (later to became PSI) between 1950 and 1953. He was a talks producer in 1953. He was an economics advisor to Treasury between 1958 and 1961. He was assistant manager of the Observer in 1961. He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Brunner [U.K., 1895] in 1982. He lived in 2003 at 138 Victoria Avenue, Dalkeith, Perth, Western Australia, Australia.
